Scripture: (Exodus 14; Romans 7:24; Ephesians 2:4; Ephesians 4:1-16)
In this sermon, the story of Moses and the crossing of the Red Sea is the backdrop for the exhortation that God can make a way where there is no way. The exhortation is to keep following God until you reach the “Promised Land”. It is time to keep silent and allow God to do His work; let God make the necessary changes in you. A popular song in the 1970’s by Captain and Tinnille was, “Love Will Keep Us Together.” This message reminds us that God is rich in mercy – because of His great love with which He loved us. God demonstrated His love, so we should as well. God’s love will keep us together.
Scripture: (Mark 5:25; Isaiah 61; Luke 4:18-19; Acts 16:25)
Jesus is the breakthrough. He is the breakthrough of whatever is holding your back. Is it fear, holding a grudge, finances, or tradition? It doesn’t matter, Jesus came that you may have a breakthrough. How can it happen? God does it through our obedience. So, inquire, hear and obey, and give God the glory!
Scripture: 1 Chronicles 13:9-14
We need to accept the promise that God means to give you the victory over your situation, but you must persevere! We have the power of God in our hands, feet, legs, and mouth to take back what the devil stole. God means for us to face our giants. To do this, we must learn what David learned when he tried to bring the ark of God back to Jerusalem. This message identifies how to get your breakthrough.
